Most people haven’t heard of Internet Archive Scholar. Similar to Google Scholar, Internet Archive Scholar includes >25 million research articles and other scholarly documents preserved in the Internet Archive, from digitized copies of 18th-century journals to the latest Open Access conference proceedings and pre-prints crawled from the Web. I joined the beta of the ad-free search engine Neeva. Search engine Brave is also in public Beta. Both focus on user privacy. Take a look at DuckDuckGo's traffic. Capturing Google's market share is no easy task. Plenty of startups are lining up.
